#AmericaStrong salute to healthcare & frontline workers
On Memorial Day, the Air Force Thunderbirds saluted healthcare workers and frontline workers with a flyover. The display was part of Operation American Strong, a national day of thanks for military and first responders. A group of six F-16C/D Fighting Falcons flew over hospitals in downtown San Diego and Escondido. The Thunderbirds’ salute to frontline workers and healthcare workers reflects our nation’s strong commitment to those who protect our lives.
Fighter jets from the California Air National Guard are scheduled to fly over Merced on Wednesday in a formation salute to healthcare and frontline workers. The aircraft will take off at 10 a.m. from Fresno and will fly over several medical facilities throughout the San Joaquin Valley.
As part of the show, the US Air Force Thunderbirds and US Navy Blue Angels will perform a flyover to honor healthcare and frontline workers. These elite US military flight teams have flown over hospitals across the country, including in D.C., Philadelphia, Newark, Trenton, and other areas.
